Because of the delicate nature of our product, emchocolatier takes every precaution to ensure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition. All orders are shipped from our kitchens in New York City by FedEx or UPS Next Day Air --Monday through Thursday. To avoid many days of unreliable storage over the weekend, we are unable to offer Saturday, Sunday or Monday delivery.
Shipping & handling charges will be included in pricing at checkout. Please remember shipping & handling charges are per address.
*Manhattan Residents Save on Shipping
If you live in Manhattan, we can deliver your chocolates by messenger and you’ll save on shipping. Order by Phone and we’ll charge your order and messenger to your Visa or MasterCard. Order Online and we’ll rebate a portion of the shipping charge so you will pay only for the cost of a messenger.
*Military APO or FPO Boxes
We are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes, military APO or FPO boxes.
*New York State Residents
Orders placed by New York State residents and shipped to New York State addresses are subject to a sales tax of 8.375%.
*Holidays
Shipments are not available for delivery on the following days or the day after: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
*Double check your shipping addresses.
emchocolatier is not responsible for incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Please give all pertinent information. Apartment numbers, room numbers and floor numbers are critical. There is an additional fee for re-delivery to an incorrect address.

We are happy to add a gift card to your order. Let us know when you place your order. Please make sure you notify the recipient to look for the package.

If your chocolate does not arrive in acceptable condition, please contact us immediately upon delivery and describe the problem (646-872-4886 or email us). We will provide a replacement or refund the cost of the chocolate you have purchased. Shipping costs will not be refunded. We are not responsible for melted or damaged chocolate that is left unattended or exposed to the elements.
